There are very few affordable 3 Row V8 SUVs available, and this beast should scratch that itch. We discuss some of the details in this follow-up video. Others to consider are the Toyota Highlander, Honda Pilot, VW Atlas, and Mazda CX-90" This car, as with any stellantis product, gets quite a bit of hate on the internet for being Old & American & whatnot, but as they illustrate its a fairly solid product & a unique offering in that segment. When this gen launched in '11 the cheapest v8 Durango was $36k, its $43k today, that same $36k is $55k in today money. & for that money you're getting a 3-row BoF known quantity thats genuinely capable in regards to towing etc, comes with a 10yr warranty, & its genuinely good fun at times. Might need the warranty as they still haven't sorted out the electrics, but a base grand highlander w/ nothing on it starts at 41, a sequoia at 61, $50k for a GH w/ cooled seats, & you can find these in the mid-high 30s if you're fine with the totally adequate pentastar & You'll have parts availability for the next century submitted by /u/hi_im_bored13 [link] [comments]
