"Retro Ride in the Heat: One Owner's Quest for a Cool Solution. For drivers of older vehicles, summertime can be a real challenge - especially when the air conditioning just isn't an option. That's the case for one Honda Civic owner, who's been searching for a reliable and affordable way to cool down their 1994 ride. With the original AC kit proving hard to find and costly to upgrade, enthusiasts are left wondering: has anything changed in recent years to make it easier to keep the interior of these classic cars cool? In a post that's sparking curiosity among fellow car owners, one user shares their experience and asks if anyone has found a convenient aftermarket solution or alternative to traditional AC systems."
So, I drive 1994 Honda Civic without AC. Original AC kit is hard to find and it still needs to be upgraded because it works on R12, it's very expensive and hard to do. As I know there were no convenient aftermarket AC's or other ways to cool down the interior of the car, but maybe something changed in last years? submitted by /u/Tadeush_Kostyshko [link] [comments]
