With reports that RS3 is getting killed off soon, why would Audi decide to introduce the hatch to the Western Hemisphere for the first time? As an American, this variant has been my dream daily for years. The engine, the practicality, and good lord the presence. A true unicorn of a car without the supercar price tag. Hits the sweet spot in a way the sedan version or Golf R could never. Not sure what Audi is thinking with randomly picking Mexico, especially this late in the car's life cycle. The proximity to the US and Canada is the only thing giving me hope for a limited production run in the final years. If not, you bet I'm buying a Mexican RS3 and crossing the border before time runs out. https://www.audi.com.mx/es/models/a3/rs-3-sportback/ submitted by /u/Kim_Jong_Poontang [link] [comments]
