China's rapid transition to a low-carbon economy continues to gain momentum, with the country emerging as a global leader in electric vehicle (EV) production and renewable energy adoption. According to a report, China has surpassed the United States in EV sales, accounting for over 50% of the world's total EV market share. The country's commitment to advanced manufacturing has enabled it to dominate the global EV supply chain, from battery production to vehicle assembly. As China seeks to become carbon-neutral by 2060, its focus on EVs and renewables is expected to drive significant economic growth and job creation, while also reducing its reliance on fossil fuels and mitigating climate change.
