A major milestone has been achieved in Peru's push towards electric vehicle adoption, as a specially designed EV has completed a grueling performance test along the country's challenging Lima-Ticlio-Lima route. The route, which spans over 200km, features steep inclines and declines, as well as extreme temperatures, making it a demanding test for any vehicle. The successful completion of this test is a significant step towards proving the feasibility of electric vehicles in Peru's rugged terrain, and could pave the way for the adoption of EVs in the country's public transportation sector. The test results are expected to be a crucial factor in informing Peru's transportation policy and potentially leading to increased investment in EV infrastructure.
