The first electric vehicle charging stations in Arizona, installed along a stretch of Interstate 17, have been completed, marking a milestone in the state’s infrastructure for electric vehicles. However, residents in Graham and Greenlee counties will not see any stations in the near future, as none are currently planned for those areas. The newly operational stations aim to support growing EV adoption by providing accessible charging options for travelers. Concerns have been raised about the uneven distribution of charging infrastructure across the state.
