Honda is reportedly discontinuing production of its three electric vehicles in the US market, a move that comes as the Japanese automaker shifts its focus towards more hybrid and fuel-efficient models. The affected vehicles include the Clarity Electric, Clarity Hybrid, and the Clarity Plug-in Hybrid, all of which were designed to appeal to environmentally conscious consumers. Despite its initial efforts to enter the electric vehicle market, Honda has faced stiff competition from established players like Tesla and General Motors, which have made significant investments in their own EV lineups. As a result, Honda is now concentrating on its more successful hybrid offerings, such as the CR-V Hybrid and the Insight Hybrid.
