Indonesia's 2027 budget is set to favor two key sectors: mining and electric vehicle (EV) manufacturing. According to a recent announcement, the Southeast Asian nation has allocated significant funds to boost its mining industry, with a focus on extracting key minerals such as nickel and copper. The move is seen as a strategic step to capitalize on Indonesia's vast mineral reserves and meet growing global demand. Meanwhile, the government has also introduced incentives to attract EV manufacturers, aiming to establish the country as a major player in the electric vehicle market.
