Mercedes-Benz has withdrawn from its European fast-charging network, handing over operation of 47 key charging hubs to Electra, a subsidiary of the Dutch energy company Eneco. The move marks a shift in strategy as the automaker consolidates its charging infrastructure under a single provider. Electra, which specializes in electric vehicle charging solutions, will now manage the network previously maintained by Mercedes-Benz. This transition could impact drivers relying on the brand’s existing charging stations across Europe.
