Nissan is taking a significant step towards a more electric future in Europe, as it expands its lineup of battery-electric vehicles (BEVs). The Japanese automaker has announced plans to add the highly anticipated electric Juke to its European offerings, joining a growing family of eco-friendly models. The Juke, a popular compact crossover, will bring Nissan's total BEV count in Europe to five, following the success of the Leaf, Ariya, and a pair of smaller models based on the Renault Micra and Twingo. With this expansion, Nissan aims to meet the growing demand for electric vehicles on the continent, where governments have set ambitious targets for reducing carbon emissions.
