Concerns over the safe transportation of hazardous materials for electric vehicle (EV) manufacturing have been raised by the National Propane Gas Association (NPGA). The organization is calling for further analysis into the potential risks associated with transporting lithium-ion batteries, which are used in many EVs, as well as other hazardous materials involved in the production process. As the demand for EVs continues to grow, so too does the need for safe and efficient transportation of the materials required to manufacture them. The NPGA's stance highlights the importance of balancing the push for EV adoption with the need to ensure public safety and mitigate potential environmental risks.
