LEVA, the European association of electric‑vehicle manufacturers, has issued a public letter addressed to Commissioner Séjourné and fellow European Commission officials, urging the EU to accelerate its transition to electric mobility. The letter highlights the growing momentum of the electric motorcycle sector, citing rapid advances in battery technology, expanding charging infrastructure, and increasing consumer demand. LEVA calls for stronger regulatory support, including clearer emissions standards, incentives for low‑carbon production, and a coordinated investment strategy to ensure that electric motorcycles can compete with traditional two‑wheelers. The organization also stresses the need for a unified European framework to foster innovation, protect jobs, and meet the EU’s climate targets.
