As a severe heatwave gripped the region, the power grid teetered on the brink of collapse, with energy demand soaring to unprecedented levels. However, a surprise hero emerged to help stabilize the grid: electric vehicles (EVs). According to reports, a significant number of EV owners plugged in their cars to charge, effectively taking some of the pressure off the grid by reducing the demand for electricity.
