Toyota is facing a significant recall of its electric vehicles, affecting over 20,991 bZ4X, RZ4X, and Solterra models. The recall, announced by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), is due to a potential risk of the vehicles' wheels separating from the hub, which could lead to a loss of control and increased risk of an accident. The issue is reportedly related to a manufacturing defect in the wheel bearings, which could cause them to fail prematurely. Owners of affected vehicles will be notified and instructed to take their vehicles to a Toyota dealership for repairs.
