Electric vehicle (EV) charging just got a whole lot smarter. French auto supplier Valeo and Japanese automaker Nissan have teamed up to sign a groundbreaking contract for Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) charging in Europe. This innovative technology allows EVs to act as energy storage devices, feeding excess power back into the grid when not in use. With this partnership, thousands of Nissan EV owners across the continent will be able to participate in a smart energy network, helping to stabilize the grid and potentially even earn money by selling excess energy back to the grid.
