Volkswagen Group is set to offload a significant chunk of its engineering services provider, IAV, to the global consulting giant Accenture by the end of the year. This move is part of the German automaker's efforts to cut costs and raise much-needed cash, as it continues to navigate the challenging landscape of the global automotive industry. IAV, which has worked closely with VW on various projects, including electric vehicle development, is expected to bring in a substantial sum for the struggling conglomerate. The sale could also pave the way for Accenture to expand its presence in the automotive sector, further consolidating its position as a major player in the industry.

VW Group plans to sell a majority stake in engineering services provider IAV to Accenture by year-end as part of its cost-cutting strategy and cash-raising efforts.
